Ricky Taylor holds the race lead in the Sahlen’s Six Hours of the Glen after two hours of racing have been completed.

Taylor briefly lost the lead of the race on the opening lap when Dane Cameron moved the #60 Meyer Shank Racing Acura ARX-05 into the lead.

Taylor then trailed for a good hour, before the #60 Acura, now in the hands of Olivier Pla, was held up by traffic. This allowed Taylor to move the #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Acura ARX-05 by into turn one and recapture the lead of the race.

The two drivers remain closed together, with Harry Tincknell moving the #55 Mazda RT24-P into third ahead of the #01 Chip Ganassi Racing Cadillac DPi-VR of Kevin Magnussen.

Two LMP2 cars have fallen away in the opening stages. The #8 Tower Motorsports ORECA 07-Gibson spun off and suffered suspension damage on lap one, before a gearbox issue delayed it even further. Shortly before the completion of the second hour, the #18 Era Motorsport ORECA also came to a halt on track with Kyle Tilley behind the wheel.

George Kurtz currently leads LMP3 for CORE Autosport and their #54 CORE Autosport. Kurtz has Dylan Murry behind in second in the #91 Riley Motorsports Ligier, while one of the former leaders, the #36 Andretti Autosports has fallen back to third, now in the hands of Marco Andretti.

The LMP3 polesitter and early leader, the #2 United Autosports Ligier in the hands of Austin McCusker, is no longer in contention for a win. It was first delayed by a slow stop, before a more serious delay came when McCusker was tagged into a spin following contact with Olivier Pla and hit the wall.

Corvette Racing leads GTLM, with Nick Tandy out front in the #4 Corvette C8.R from team-mate Jordan Taylor in the #3 Corvette in second place.
