Meyer Shank Racing unveils Acura DPi livery

Meyer Shank Racing has unveiled the race livery for its Acura DPi, which will debut at the Rolex 24 at Daytona later this month.

The #60 Acura ARX-05 will be driven by the full-season pairing of Olivier Pla and Dane Cameron, with Juan Pablo Montoya joining for Daytona and AJ Allmendinger completing the line-up for the opening round in Florida.

The car will be decked out in a pink and black colour scheme, bearing a resemblance to the scheme the team has run on the Acura NSX during its GT3 efforts in recent years.

It also matches the team’s IndyCar livery. According to the team, the pink colour is in support of DrivePink campaign set up by sponsor AutoNation, which aims to find a cure for cancer.

Meyer Shank Racing is one of two teams campaigning the Acura DPi during the 2021 IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, with Wayne Taylor Racing also campaigning a single ARX-05 for the 2021 season.

Both teams acquired the car after Acura’s DPi partnership with Team Penske came to an end at the end of the 2020 season.

Both teams will first see action with their new DPis at the Roar Before the 24, the traditional test week that takes place one week ahead of the main race from 22-24 January. The race itself takes place on January 30-31.
