Acura Team Penske leads the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring with three hours remaining, while Porsche has fallen away in GTLM.

The #6 Acura ARX-05 of Simon Pagenaud grabbed the lead shortly before the hour mark, moving up during pitstops under caution, caused by a crash for the #4 Corvette C8.R of Oliver Gavin. Gavin’s Corvette suffered suspension failure going into the final corner, resulting in the car snapping away and hitting the barriers.

After the restart, Pagenaud has opened up gap to Pipo Derani in the #31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-VR, with Tristan Vautier in third place in the #5 Mustang Sampling Corvette C8.R.

In LMP2, the #52 PR1/Mathiasen Motorsports ORECA 07-Gibson still leads despite a pair of incidents for Patrick Kelly. Kelly first sent John Farano in the #8 Tower Motorsport by Starworks spinning before a coming together with Nick Catsburg in the #3 Corvette C8.R, where both cars made contact and were sent spinning off.

In GTLM, Porsche’s race has taken a turn for the worse after the latest restart. Fred Makowiecki had been leading at the restart but fell back down the order after a mistake, while Laurens Vanthoor damaged the #912 Porsche 911 RSR-19. As a result, both cars now sit at the back of the class.

Corvette has recovered from the earlier LMP2 incident to lead with the #3 Corvette in the hands of Jordan Taylor ahead of the #25 BMW M8 GTE of Colton Herta in second place and the #24 BMW M8 GTE of Augusto Farfus in third.

In GTD, the race continues to be very close to call. Jeff Westphal currently leads in the #63 Scuderia Corsa Ferrari 488 GT3 Evo, taking the lead from the #30 Team Hardpoint Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo of Andrew Davis.

Mario Farnbacher holds second in the #86 Meyer Shank Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo, with Jan Heylen third in the #16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3 R.
