Renger van der Zande has set the quickest time in second practice for the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring as Cadillac runners locked out the top three positions.

Van der Zande set the best time of 01:47:478 in the #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac DPi-VR. Like in first practice, Sebastien Bourdais was once again second in the #5 Mustang Sampling Cadillac DPi-VR, with Pipo Derani third for Whelen Engineering.

Oliver Jarvis ended the session fourth after initially topping the timesheets, but the #77 Mazda RT24-P dropped down the timesheets after a flurry of late fast laps. He ended up ahead of the two Team Penske Acuras and team-mate Jonathan Bomarito in the second Mazda, with the #85 JDC-Miller Cadillac rounding out the class.

In LMP2, Mikkel Jensen put the #8 Tower Motorsport by Starworks ORECA 07-Gibson up top, despite John Farano bringing the car to a halt on track earlier in the session.

Porsche once again topped GTLM with both cars, with the two 911 RSR-19s switching order from first practice. This time, Laurens Vanthoor set the fastest time in the #912 Porsche. The Belgian’s 01:57:975 proved 0.197s quicker than Fred Makowiecki’s best effort in the #911 Porsche.

Jordan Taylor came in third in the #3 Corvette C8.R, ahead of the #24 BMW M8 GTE of Jesse Krohn. Colton Herta was fifth in the second BMW, with Oliver Gavin rounding out the class in the #4 Corvette.

In GTD, Lamborghini runners topped the timesheets, with Steijn Schothorst going quickest in the #11 GRT Grasser Lamborghini Huracan GT3 Evo. The Dutchman posted a 02:02:352, which was enough to best Paul Miller Racing’s Bryan Sellers by just 0.098s.

Jan Heylen was third quickest in the #16 Wright Motorsports Porsche 911 GT3R, with the top five rounded out by the two AIM Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3s of Aaron Telitz and Frankie Montecalvo.
