Dane Cameron has lead an Acura Team Penske one-two in qualifying for the Acura Sports Car Challenge at Mid-Ohio.

Cameron set the pace in the session with a series of fast laps before ultimately setting a 01:10:839 in the #6 Acura ARX-05. Team-mate Helio Castroneves improved with a late flyer to take second for a front row lockout, just two-tenths off his team-mate.

Jonathan Bomarito improved to a late third in the #55 Mazda RT24-P, ahead of the fourth-placed in the #31 Whelen Engineering Cadillac DPi-VR of Pipo Derani. Ryan Briscoe took fifth in the #10 Wayne Taylor Racing Cadillac, despite an off-track excursion in the final minutes of the session.

Taylor puts Corvette on pole

Corvette Racing has meanwhile taken pole position in GTLM in absence of main rivals Porsche.
