IMSA has released the entry list for next week’s Weathertech 240 at Daytona, with 26 cars set to contest the first race since the series was halted in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 26 cars are split between three classes, with LMP2 not set to appear. The DPi and GTLM entries remain unchanged, with no confirmed line-up changes in either class.

The twelve-car GTD field has seen by far the most change. Entries from Paul Miller Racing, Pfaff Motorsports and The Heart of Racing are all absent, as is the second Wright Motorsport Porsche. Grasser Racing Team has seen its efforts reduced to a single car after fielding three at the Rolex 24 at Daytona, with the GEAR Racing entry and their own #11 machine not on the grid, meaning only the #44 GRT Magnus entry remains.

New to the grid are the #22 Gradient Racing Acura NSX GT3 Evo for Till Bechtolsheimer and Marc Miller and the #30 Team Hardpoint Audi R8 LMS GT3 Evo for Rob Ferriol and Spencer Pumpelly, which announced its new GT3 programme last week. Compass Racing also returns to the grid with its #76 McLaren 720S GT3.

The new teams are joined by regulars AIM Vasser Sullivan, Meyer Shank Racing, Scuderia Corsa, Riley Motorsports and Turner Motorsports.

The #14 AIM Vasser Sullivan Lexus RC F GT3 has seen a line-up change as Aaron Telitz has been brought in to replaced Parker Chase. Telitz now partners Jack Hawksworth as part of the two-car Lexus effort.
