The Haas Formula 1 team has become the latest squad to outline its launch plans for its 2020 car.

Haas’ VF-20 will be unveiled in the pit lane at 08:00 local time on February 19 at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, an hour before the start of pre-season testing.

Haas joins Alfa Romeo in launching its car on the opening day of testing at the Spanish Grand Prix venue.

Its fellow Ferrari-powered team will unveil its C39 at 08:15, also in the pit lane.

Haas, which joined Formula 1 in 2016, endured its worst season in 2019, amid difficulties with its VF19.

The squad struggled to develop the package while problems in tyre usage in race trim hampered Haas’ prospects.

Haas slumped to ninth in the Constructors’ Championship, only classifying ahead of Williams, with its 28 points its lowest return in Formula 1.

The team has retained Kevin Magnussen and Romain Grosjean as its drivers.

Ferrari is currently set to kick-off launch season on February 11, with Renault (February 12), McLaren (February 13) and Mercedes and Alpha Tauri (both February 14) following suit the same week.

Racing Point will unveil its 2020 car in Austria on February 17.
