IMSA and NBC Sports have unveiled the broadcast schedule for the 2020 IMSA Weathertech Sportscar Championship.
In total, the network will broadcast 59 hours across NBC, NBCSN and CNBC, nine of which will be on NBC. The NBC coverage will begin on Saturday, January 25, with the first hour of the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The final two hours of the race will also be broadcast live on NBC, in addition to the Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca round on September 13 and the first three hours of Motul Petit Le Mans on October 10.
The vast majority of races will be shown on NBCSN, with a total of 44,5 hours of broadcasting. This includes 13,5 hours of the Rolex 24, as well as complete broadcasts of the Long Beach, Mid-Ohio, Detroit and Canadian Tire Motorsport Park rounds.
CNBC will show the first two and a half hours of the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, while NBSCN will cover the final two hours. CNBC will also our the August 2nd round at Road America.
The Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen on Sunday, June 28; the Northeast Grand Prix at Lime Rock Park on Saturday, July 18 and the Michelin GT Challenge at VIRginia International Raceway on Sunday, Aug. 23 all will have same-day coverage on NBCSN.
Coverage on NBC and NBCSN will also stream on the NBCSports.com and the NBC Sports app, much like the 2019 season.
