Team LNT has confirmed Formula 2 driver Jordan King will race in the #5 car for the 4 Hours of Shanghai in November.
King will get his first opportunity to race in the LMP1 class alongside Egor Orudzhev and Ben Hanley in the G60-LT-P1 LMP1.
Fellow F2 rival Luca Ghiotto recently got his first taste of the WEC as he raced for the team at the previous round for the 6 Hours of Fuji, while WEC regular Oliver Jarvis filled the void at the season-opener in the 4 Hours of Silverstone.
The British driver is already a WEC winner with Jackie Chan DC Racing in LMP2 in the 2018-19 SuperSeason, winning the 1000 Miles of Sebring alongside Will Stevens and David-Heinemeier-Hansson during a three-race spell with the team.
Team LNT's sister #6 car will field an unchanged line-up with factory drivers Charlie Robertson and Mike Simpson and 2003 Le Mans winner Guy Smith.
“We’re delighted to welcome Jordan to the team,” said Team LNT Team Principal Lawrence Tomlinson.
“His record clearly shows he has speed, and the Ginetta has plenty of that to offer to him. A very quick British driver in a very quick British car on a circuit that should again see the real pace of LMP1 on display. We’ll be looking to all of our drivers to take the fight to the opposition in China.”

“I’ve been watching their efforts closely in the early part of the season and it is very clear that there is massive potential here.

The 4 Hours of Shanghai gets underway on 10 November.
