Grid penalties have been handed out to Devlin DeFrancesco, Logan Sargeant and Alexander Peroni for their various transgressions during the FIA Formula 3 Belgian Sprint Race at Spa-Francorchamps.
Sargeant has been penalised with a five-place grid penalty for the Feature Race in Monza after the Carlin driver was found responsible for tagging the back of Liam Lawson at the bus stop chicane on the opening lap.
DeFrancesco will also face a five-place grid drop in Monza for hitting Jake Hughes at the Les Combes chicane, the crash took both drivers out of the race.
Peroni was handed a five-second time penalty to his race result for his role in the incident with MP Motorsport's Simo Laaksonen which left the Dutch driver buried in the wall at Blanchemont. The Australian had made slight contact with Laaksonen's car whilst heading towards the fast left-handed which led to a puncture.
The stewards determined that while the contact itself was a minor misjudgement by the Australian, the drivers should be aware of the possible consequences and leave a bit more of a margin.
The penalty means the Campos driver is demoted one place to 16th, behind HWA Racelab's Keyvan Andres.
