Motorsport can deliver huge highs, but sometimes it can deliver major lows, and this weekend served as a reminder of the dangers involved anytime a driver gets behind the wheel. Unfortunately Anthoine Hubert lost his life at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium on Saturday afternoon and that cast a shadow over the entire weekend…
But the motorsport community came together to celebrate the 22-year-olds life in the best way possible, by delivering some brilliant action in his honour.
Formula 1 was of course in action and there was no better winner than Hubert's childhood friend Charles Leclerc. He dedicated his first F1 win to the Formula 2 driver; Phillip Horton and Joe Saward have your full report.
Then the FIA's WEC kicked off its new season at Silverstone where both Davey Euwema and Graham Harris were present to report on all matters endurance related, plus over in the US IndyCar served up a thriller at Portland as the 2019 season nears its end. Jerry Williams also takes the opportunity to look back at his trip to Rallye Deutschland last weekend.
