TF Sport is entering its second full season of the FIA World Endurance Championship hoping to claim their first victory in the GTE Am category.
The team debuted in the championship during the 2018/19 Super Season, claiming four second place finishes on the way to third place in the championship standings. The British outfit, founded by former GT racer Tom Ferrier, is now entering its second season with the new Aston Martin Vantage AMR.
The car will be piloted by team regular Salih Yoluc and Charlie Eastwood, who will be joined by factory ace Jonny Adam. The trio hope to finally be able to grab their first WEC victory after coming close on four different occasions.
“We had a good test in Portugal, so we’re really looking forward to the start of the season," Yoluc said
"I’m driving better than ever, and I know what Jonny and Charlie are capable of. It’s a long season, so finishing every round with good points is essential. Silverstone has been good to me in the past, so I’m aiming high and chasing that first WEC win.”

“We’ve had a good two-day test at Portimao in the new GTE, so we’re all really looking forward to the first race now. With four runner-up positions last year, it’s still a big goal for us to get that win, especially as we were so close so many times," Charlie Eastwood added.
“Heading into our second season together, we have all learned a great deal, so putting it all together we feel we’ll hit the ground running compared to last year where it was an all-new experience. The driver line-up, team and new car are all very strong as a package, so we just need to piece it all together to get the results we deserve."
Jonny Adam is by far the most experienced driver out of the trio. The Scot first raced as part of Aston Martin Racing's GTE Am crew in 2013, before joining the Pro crew in 2015, a spell that included a heart-pounding class win at Le Mans when he defeated Corvette's Jordan Taylor in the final minutes in 2017.
While Yoluc and Eastwood aim for their first win in GTE Am, Adam has even greater ambitions.
“I am really excited and upbeat ahead of the 2019-2020 WEC season with TF Sport in our new red Aston Martin Vantage GTE," he said. "The team have had great success of late and that's down to the detail and preparation they put into all their race programmes."
"The same goes for WEC, our preparation is going well with testing the new Vantage GTE and I am looking forward to joining a great line up in Salih and Charlie for what we believe can be an assault on the GTE AM World Championship."
