Toyota has concluded the first test day of the pre-season Prologue at the top of the timing sheets. The #8 TS050 Hybrid, in the hands of Kazuki Nakajima, set the fastest time of 01:30:114.

The evening session was interrupted by red flags for an hour due to problems with kerbs at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya's turn 5.

Kamui Kobayashi was second fastest in the #7 Toyota, just 0.066s behind his compatriot. Rebellion was the quickest of the non-hybrid privateer, with Norman Nato's 01:31:073 in the #1 R13-Gibson bringing the earlier gap between the Toyotas and the privateers down from 1.6s to 0.9s.

Nato was some three tenths quicker than Gustavo Menezes in the #1 Rebellion. The two Ginettas were fifth and sixth, with the #5 ahead of the #6.

In LMP2, United Autosports remained quickest, with Paul di Resta setting a 01:33:110 in the ORECA 07-Gibson, improving upon his morning time by two tenths. The #36 Signatech Alpine of Thomas Laurent was second ahead of the #37 Jackie Chan DC Racing ORECA of Gabriel Aubry.

Ferrari's Miguel Molina was quickest in GTE Pro, with the #71 AF Corse 488 GTE setting a time of 01:43:814 which was enough to beat Michael Christensen in the new Porsche 991 RSR-19, who was 0.089s behind in the #92 car, with the #91 sister car of Richard Lietz and Gianmaria Bruni third.

Team Project 1 once again topped the timing sheets in GTE Am with a one-two, with the two cars just 0.054 seconds apart of the #54 AF Corse Ferrari in third place.
