The Graff Oreca 07 Gibson of Tristan Gommendy, Vincent Capillaire and Jonathan Hirschi has been stripped of LMP2 pole for the 24 Hours of Le Mans following a post-qualifying infringement.
Following the third and final qualifying session, in which it had claimed pole, Capillaire failed to stop the car for a mandatory weigh-in. As a result, all of the team's times from the Wednesday night session were deleted, including Tristan Gommendy's pole time of 03:25:073.
As a result, the #28 TDS Racing Oreca of Francois Perrodo, Matthieu Vaxivière and Loic Duval has been promoted to pole position. The #31 Dragonspeed of Roberto Gonzalez, Pastor Maldonado and Anthony Davidson will now line up second, ahead of the #36 Signatech Alpine and #26 G-Drive entries, with the #22 United Autosports Ligier now in fifth.
Graff will now be starting from 14th on the grid, based on the fastest time it set during the two previous sessions.
