Formula 1 teams have stayed on in Spain for the second of two in-season tests that will take place this year.
As in Bahrain Formula 1 teams are permitted to field one car on Tuesday and Wednesday, with the sessions running from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00.
Ferrari and Racing Point will both field a second car in order to assist tyre supplier Pirelli with assessing its 2020 prototypes.
With a wave of youngsters having stepped up in recent seasons only one driver will make their debut behind the wheel of an F1 car.
Ferrari-backed Callum Ilott will receive a day’s worth of running in the Alfa Romeo C38; the Briton competes for the company’s Sauber Junior Team in Formula 2.
Mercedes will hand track time to GP3 Series runner-up Nikita Mazepin, who has previously carried out test days with Racing Point predecessor Force India.
Ferrari simulator driver and Academy graduate Antonio Fuoco will have his first outing in a contemporary Formula 1 car since 2016, while Red Bull junior Daniel Ticktum will have another run in the RB15.
Elsewhere Racing Point simulator driver Nick Yelloly will be in action in the RP19 while Williams tester Nicholas Latifi will drive the FW42 on both days in lieu of missing out on his pre-season slot due to the team’s delays.
