Jaguar Racing's Mitch Evans has been handed a 10-place grid penalty for the Monaco E-Prix after receiving a third formal reprimand this season.
Evans qualified in third place for the ninth race of the season, however, was promoted to second on the grid as a result of a three-place grid penalty for Nissan e.dams' Oliver Rowland.
After qualifying, it was found that Evans had turned his Jaguar I-TYPE 3 up to 250kW too early, with the driver receiving a formal reprimand as a result.
This marked Evans' third reprimand this season, meaning that the driver has been handed a 10-place grid penalty in accordance with article 18.2.
This grid demotion means that Evans will start the Monaco E-Prix from 12th place while Mahindra Racing's Pascal Wehrlein will start alongside Jean-Eric Vergne on the front row of the grid.
Rowland will, in turn, move into third place while Venturi's Felipe Massa will start from fourth, inheriting a spot on the second row.
The Monaco E-Prix will commence at 16:33 local time later today.
