MRF Challenge champion Jamie Chadwick will start from pole position for the first ever W Series race, with the British driver dominating the wet qualifying session.

The #55 posted a best time of 1:58.894 in difficult conditions to beat Lichenstein's Fabienne Wohlwend to the top spot by a massive 1.7 seconds.

Leading the second row will be Sarah Moore alongside Emma Kimilainen, who suffered from traffic during her earlier laps before finding a clearing to go fourth, 2.7s down on Chadwick.

Marta Garcia completes the top five. Alice Powell will line up sixth alongside the Spaniard, but the British racer brought the session to a close with a late spin and a resultant red flag.

Beitske Visser was eighth behind Vicky Piria and complained of a turbo failure during the session, which saw her session end early as her team worked on fixing the issue before the end of the session, but unfortunately the late red flag scuppered her chances of heading out for a final run.
