Thierry Neuville has taken victory in Argentina, with team-mate Andreas Mikkelsen making it a Hyundai one-two.
Neuville took the lead on Friday evening after early front-runners Kris Meeke and Ott Tanak encountered problems and now has a 10 point advantage over Sebastien Ogier in the title fight.
Likewise Mikkelsen completed a clean rally, allowing the Norwegian to capitalise on the misfortunes of others and finish the event 48.4 seconds behind his team-mate.
Sebastien Ogier completed the podium after a final day battle with Meeke for the position.
Meeke held third on Saturday evening but received a penalty for taking the wrong path in a fork in the road earlier in the day.
This promoted Ogier to the final podium spot but Meeke put in an impressive time to snatch it back on Sunday’s opening round, before a front left puncture on the Northern Irishman’s Yaris on the powerstage gave it back to Ogier.
Meeke finished fourth, with 15 seconds in hand over Jari-Matti Latvala in fifth who put in a strong powerstage time after a tough rally.
Dani Sordo was last of the Hyundai finishers, ahead of Teemu Suninen in seventh who once again struggled to hear co-driver Marko Salminen’s pacenotes due to an intercom issue.
Tanak completed Sunday under Rally2 regulations after Saturday’s alternator problem and finished in eighth.
Mads Ostberg was WRC2 Pro winner in ninth with 10th place going to WRC2 victor Pedro Heller.
