Mitch Evans set the pace in free practice two ahead of qualifying for the Paris E-Prix, topping the timesheets in the final practice session of the weekend for Jaguar Racing.
While FP1 was marked by wet conditions after rain earlier in the day, second practice was met with bright sunshine and a dry track as a result, allowing the field to experience dry running for the first time this weekend using 200, 225 and 250kW of power.
Evans, who is Formula E's most recent winner after triumphing on the streets of Rome two weeks ago, set a best time of a 1m 00.226s on the 1.930km-long Circuit des Invalides, holding a 0.103s advantage over Oliver Rowland who set the second fastest time for Nissan e.dams.
While Rowland's 250kW qualifying simulation had faults which included a mistake in Turns 9 and 10, the Briton was closely followed by Season Three champion Lucas di Grassi who occupied third for Audi Sport Abt Schaeffler, a further 0.039s off Evans' pace.
Andre Lotterer, who set the pace in FP1, was fourth fastest for DS Techeetah in dry conditions while Sebastien Buemi completed the top five in the second Nissan, despite spinning his IM01 car late in the session.
Daniel Abt was sixth fastest while reigning Formula E champion and 2018 Paris E-Prix winner Jean-Eric Vergne was seventh, 0.228s off the pace.
Antonio Felix da Costa emerged as the fastest BMW i Andretti Motorsport driver by securing the eighth fastest time, albeit 0.306s off the pace while his team-mate Alexander Sims was 21st after the Briton's FP2 came to an early end in the team's garage.
Current championship leader Jerome d'Ambrosio was ninth, 0.372s off the pace to front a Belgian 9-10, with Stoffel Vandoorne securing the 10th fastest time for HWA Racelab.
Pascal Wehrlein followed Vandoorne in 11th while Maximilian Gunther, Edoardo Mortara, Gary Paffett and Oliver Turvey completed the field through to 15th.
Robin Frijns completed 11 laps on his way to the 16th fastest time in what was a difficult session for Envision Virgin Racing, with Santiago E-Prix race winner Sam Bird failing to complete any running in FP2, meaning that the driver only has 12 laps under his belt ahead of qualifying.
Alex Lynn followed Frijns in 17th while Tom Dillmann was 18th, Felipe Massa was 19th and Jose Maria Lopez was 20th, the Argentinian briefly holding the fastest time in sector one before crashing his GEOX Dragon car during his 250kW run.
Qualifying for the Paris E-Prix will commence at 11:45 local time.
