Formula 1 2019 was finally on display in Barcelona last week. After weeks of speculation and prediction, we were still none the wiser when the chequered flag waved late on Thursday afternoon; although everyone, including team boss Claire Williams, felt that the Grove team has a steep hill to climb. Phillip Horton, James Moy, Joe Saward, and Graham Harris were in Barcelona for Motorsport Monday.

While he was there, Phillip Horton sat down with one of the most popular of the 2019 rookies – Alexander Albon – who set the time sheets alight in his Honda powered Toro Rosso with a total of 268 laps of the Barcelona circuit. Phillip finds just what makes this young star tick and how he could well be the surprise of the season!

With Rally Sweden 2019 now a memory, Jerry Williams sent us his postcard from Sweden. Jezza is really in love with this snow covered Scandinavian country with its high taxes and multiple speed camera warning signs. But some of his stories, especially the one about the bar with 400 different whiskeys were hard to believe, expect that he has the photo to prove it.
