Listen as Mercedes fires up its 2019 engine, which will power its 2019 challenger, dubbed the W10, for the very first time.

The current reigning champions are due to unveil their new car to the public on February 13 – the same date as Racing Point and Red Bull. There's some mystery over what colours the car will be sporting when it hits the track for the first time during a shakedown at the Silverstone Circuit on the same day, after the team teased a new livery featuring black, blue and green, rather than its traditional silver.

However, it's likely to be a test-only livery, with the team almost certain to retain its corporate silver colours with a flash of turquoise thanks to title sponsor Petronas – a scheme its used since it returned to F1 in 2010.

Mercedes will be hoping the W10 can power them to a sixth consecutive Constructors' Championship and will retain its current line-up of five-time champion Lewis Hamilton alongside team-mate Valtteri Bottas.
