Winning his home event in just his fourth WRC start, Esapekka Lappi’s victory at last year’s Rally Finland marked a weekend to remember for the then-rookie of the Toyota Gazoo Racing team, who will be looking for a repeat result as the series heads back to Jyvaskyla for 2018. Now very much a member of the ‘Flying Finn’ brigade, the 27-year-old spoke to Mobil 1 The Grid to relive the trials and tribulations of winning on home soil, as he gets set to do it all again this year.
