From a weekend of no motorsport to an absolute bonanza! Boy did this weekend deliver some thrills and spills.
First off we head to Bahrain where the second round of the Formula 1 World Championship got underway under the floodlights. The sport needed a spectacle after the dull opener in Melbourne and that’s exactly what we got. It was edge of your seat stuff from start to finish and the red flags were flying once again as Sebastian Vettel made it two from two. Formula 2 was also in action with its debut weekend at the Sakhir Circuit.
The World Rally Championship headed to the Island of Dreams for round four and for some more of the same as Sebastien Ogier produced an outstanding display on the cliffside passes. Jerry Williams has the full report.
IndyCar headed to Phoenix and it came down to a clever strategy and a risky gamble which paid off for the winner, whilst the World Endurance Championship kicked off its season with the Prologue.
