Friday pacesetter Alex Marquez ended Moto2 practice in Qatar on top after a late effort put him 0.131 seconds ahead of Lorenzo Baldassarri.
Much like the prior Moto3 session, Moto2 FP3 was run in scorching conditions, which meant improving on Friday's best times was made impossible.
Intact GP's Xavi Vierge, who joins the team this season from Tech3, set the early pace in final practice with a 2:02.388s, and improving on his following lap to a 2:02.272s.
Mattia Pasini proved his closest challenger for much of the 45 minutes, the Italtrans rider just over a tenth adrift, while Vierge's teammate Marcel Schortter slotted into third a further tenth of a second adrift.
FP1's fastest man Baldassarri took over from Vierge in the final five minutes with a 2:02.203s, the Pons rider improving marginally on his follow-up tour to a 2:02.143s.
This looked good to remain the best of FP3, but Marquez – who remains fastest overall with his FP2 time of 2:00.932s – had other ideas and edged ahead at the end of the session with a 2:01.928s.
Red Bull KTM Ajo's Miguel Oliveira made a late move for third, with teammate Brad Binder slotting in behind in fourth ahead of Sky VR46 rider Luca Marini.
Vierge was shuffled back to sixth at the chequered flag, while Hector Barbera made it two Pons Kalex's in the top seven with a late 2:02.286s.
Moto3 rookie Romano Fenati ended the afternoon eighth, completing the hat-trick of top 10- finishes in practice this weekend. Pasini and Isaac Vinales completed the top 10.
Schrotter headed Sam Lowes and Remy Gardner, who was forced into pitlane early on after Simone Corsi [22nd] made contact with the Australian's Tech3 machine and broke his front mudguard.
Danny Kent continued to work on the Ohlins suspension his Speed Up team switched to in testing. He was 14th in FP3, with Francesco Bagnaia flying under the radar in 15th.
