Formula 1 has reconvened at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya for the second and final week of 2018 pre-season testing.

Last week’s opening four-day gathering was interrupted by unseasonably cold and wet weather, with Wednesday morning’s running suspended due to snowfall.

During a brief dry and warm spell, reigning World Champion Lewis Hamilton laid down a marker as he set the quickest overall time, registering a 1:19.333 on Medium tyres.

This week’s forecast is for sunnier and warmer weather; temperatures in the region have returned to normal, with the usual risk of shower the only threat to running.

As per last week, all teams are permitted to field one car for the duration of the test, with squads typically opting to split track time fifty-fifty between drivers.

Running will take place from 09:00 to 13:00 and from 14:00 to 18:00 on Tuesday and Thursday, while action on Wednesday and Friday will last from 09:00 to 18:00, with no break for lunch.

Motorsport Week will be providing regular updates, and all the latest news, across the four days of testing at the Spanish Grand Prix venue.
