The first day of pre-season testing is upon us, with all ten teams having gathered at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, Formula 1’s traditional test venue.
Nine of this year’s ten contenders have already hit the circuit in various shakedowns, with only Force India yet to display its 2018 challenger, the VJM11.
Force India will do so in the pit lane prior to the start of running at 09:00 local time, while Toro Rosso and Haas will also conduct an official unveiling.
The morning session will run from 09:00 to 13:00, with the afternoon session scheduled for 14:00 to 18:00.
Unfortunately for the teams, inclement weather is set to affect running this week, with cool and wet conditions sweeping in.
A mixture of sunny spells and showers is forecast for today (Monday), with a maximum temperature of 8°C expected.
