DS Virgin Racing's Alex Lynn is set to take a ten-place grid penalty at next month's Mexico City ePrix.
The penalty is a result of another gearbox change for the British racer after Lynn retired in Santiago through a gearbox problem whilst also facing issues in Marrakesh which marked his first gearbox change of the current 2017/18 season.
On the other side of the DS Virgin garage, Sam Bird has suffered from similar issues, facing problems with his gearbox in Hong Kong and in Marrakesh, although he was able to recover from these issues to score points.
The 2017/18 season marks Lynn's first full year in Formula E after he stood in for Jose Maria Lopez at DS Virgin Racing at last season's New York City ePrix where he took pole position on debut.
After four rounds, Lynn holds 15th place in the championship with seven points, 53 points adrift of Bird who currently holds third in the standings, 11 points adrift of Jean-Eric Vergne who currently leads for Techeetah.
