The FIA has confirmed the entry list for the 2018 Formula 1 season.

There are no major surprises on the published list compared its the most recent revision, issued in November last year, with rookies Charles Leclerc and Sergey Sirotkin duly confirmed for Sauber and Williams respectively.

As revealed by the drivers themselves, Leclerc will carry number 16 in Formula 1, with Williams counterpart Sirotkin to use 35.

World Champion Lewis Hamilton has once again elected to use number 44, shirking the option to carry the number 1, repeating his choice as per 2015 and 2016.

A handful of team names have been tweaked compared to 2017, with Red Bull taking on title sponsorship from Aston Martin, and Alfa Romeo linking up with Sauber.

Toro Rosso, which switches to Honda power, has been officially entered as ‘Red Bull Toro Rosso Honda’, while conversely, the Japanese marque's ex-partner returns to the 'McLaren F1 Team' moniker.

Amid speculation that it could tweak its name for 2018, Force India is still entered as ‘Sahara Force India F1 Team’.

Pre-season testing will begin at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya on February 26, with the opening race set for Melbourne a month later.
