Carlin has confirmed that Ferdinand Habsburg will continue to race for the team in European Formula 3 this season.
Habsburg stepped up to the series with the squad in 2017 and placed seventh overall, bagging his first win in Belgium.
The Austrian was also a victory contender at last year’s Macau Grand Prix, before sliding wide and hitting the wall as he challenged for the lead at the final turn.
Habsburg, who raced at the Daytona 24 Hours last weekend, will stick with Carlin for an assault on this year’s F3 crown.
“I am pumped to announce that I am re-joining Trevor [Carlin] and his incredible team this year,” said Habsburg.
“I can’t wait to get back to racing with the Carlin boys that I have become very close with over the last 14 months.
“Feeling comfortable within a team is going to be a big strength that we will take advantage of – we’re going to hit this year’s championship hard from round one!
“The team has an incredible history of developing the world’s top drivers and I’m going to work hard to make sure I do them proud.
“Thanks to everyone who has helped make it possible.”
Habsburg will link up with Jehan Daruvala, Sacha Fenestraz and Devlin DeFrancesco at Carlin.
