World Rally Champion Sébastien Ogier says a Le Mans 24 Hours venture is high up on his wishlist for when he retires from rallying.
The Frenchman, who won his fifth WRC title this year and first with the M-Sport outfit, has had a taste for circuit racing having previously tested a Red Bull Formula 1 car as well as competing in two Porsche Supercup races as well as getting behind the wheel of an Audi R8 LMS and Ferrari F430 Scuderia.
Speaking about future retirement, which many speculated would happen this year before he signed a new deal with M-Sport, Ogier admitted racing in other categories was something he wanted to try after WRC and pinpointed Le Mans as an option.
"When I stop WRC I’ll try something else for sure," said Ogier.
"I want to do Le Mans one day, that’s clearly something I want to do. But there might also be other things.
"I'm sure I'll find some other option, because staying home when you're 33… it's a bit too early, I think. I get bored very quickly," he added.
"Right now I'm focusing on WRC because it's already an intense championship, and I want to spend some time as well at home and take some care of my family too."
