MS&AD Andretti has confirmed that Britain's Tom Blomqvist will make his Formula E debut at next month's Marrakesh ePrix in Morocco.
The Andretti outfit announced in November that Blomqvist would partner Antonio Felix da Costa for the 2017-2018 season, however, instead recruited former F1 driver Kamui Kobayashi for the opening two rounds of the new campaign which started in Hong Kong earlier this month.
Blomqvist will join da Costa for the third round and the remainder of the Season 4 campaign while Alexander Sims has been appointed as the team's reserve driver.
The 24 year-old Cambridge-born racer finished second in the 2014 European Formula 3 Championship, missing out on the title to Esteban Ocon while beating teen sensation Max Verstappen by a narrow nine points to the runner-up spot.
Most recently, Blomqvist has competed in the competitive DTM Championship for BMW, scoring one win in his rookie season in the series and finishing a best of sixth place in the Drivers' Championship.
