United Autosports has added Bruno Senna to its driver lineup for the Rolex 24 at Daytona.
The recently crowned World Endurance LMP2 champion will join Paul di Resta, Will Owen and Hugo de Sadeleer behind the wheel of a Ligier JSP217-Gibson.
The sister car, meanwhile, remains a trio with Fernando Alonso set to compete in his first endurance race alongside Phil Hanson and Lando Norris.
Senna, 34, raced in last year's Daytona enduro with the Extreme Speed Motorsports squad, which ran a Nissan DPi car based on the Ligier package.
The Brazilian brings a wealth of sportscar experience to a crew that features three Daytona rookies: beyond his 46 Formula 1 starts, Senna has made five appearances at Le Mans, most recently with Rebellion Racing in LMP2.
Along with Julien Canal, he won the WEC LMP2 title with the Anglo-Swiss squad during the first year of the new class regulations.
“I’m very excited to join United Autosports on this challenge for Daytona," said Senna.
"It’s an incredibly accomplished team and with the experience from 2017, great technical talent, as well as the incredibly strong driver line-up, we should be up for a good fight right from the start.”
United Autosports managing director Richard Dean added: “I’m really pleased to welcome Bruno to the team for the Daytona 24 Hours. He will be great added value to the team as he has prototype and Daytona experience."

United Autosports recently sent Owen to take part in the IMSA December test, which will provide data for the Rolex 24's balance of performance tables.
The official test for the race – the Roar Before the 24 – takes place on January 5-7th and will include all seven UA drivers.
