Well, where do we start?
Our team was spread out all over the world this weekend with Joe Saward, Graham Harris, James Moy and Sue Justice in Mexico City to see Lewis Hamilton take his fourth F1 World Drivers' Championship title in rather strange circumstances after a first lap entanglement with arch rival Sebastian Vettel. After having to pit for a set of new tyres on the opening lap, he was behind the eight ball all day but brought it home in ninth place, just enough to secure the title.
Then in the wet but sunny/foggy Welsh forests, Rallies Editor Jerry Williams watched Malcolm Wilson and his privateer M-Sport squad put one over some of the biggest auto giants in the world when his young Welsh star Elfyn Evans won Wales Rally GB. In doing that, he made sure that all three M-Sport drivers took wins this year. Plus team leader Seb Ogier took his fifth drivers title and M-Sport won the manufacturers' title. Not bad for a small team based in the English Lake District!
Plus the usual news, opinion and technical analysis you're use to finding in your weekly motorsport magazine… Motorsport Monday!
