Mika Kallio will make a fourth wildcard appearance of the MotoGP campaign at November’s season finale at Valencia’s Ricardo Tormo Circuit.
Kallio, 34, has been KTM’s test rider since the end of 2015 and gave the manufacturer its MotoGP bow during last year’s final race of season at the Valencian circuit.
The Finn has made three wildcard outings this year with a best of 10th at KTM’s home race at the Red Bull Ring last month.
KTM, which has Pol Espargaró and Bradley Smith under contract for 2018, confirmed on Thursday that Kallio will join the pair for his fourth race of the year at Valencia.
Kallio made Q2 and finished 11th during his most recent outing at the Aragón Grand Prix last weekend.
