Honda-backed Tadasuke Makino will return to the European Formula 3 Championship at Zandvoort this weekend, following an injury lay-off.
Makino fractured his wrist in an accident at the Norisring round and missed the next event at Spa-Francorchamps, with the recovery timeframe putting his Zandvoort participation in doubt.
However, Hitech has confirmed that Makino will climb back into the cockpit for this weekend’s event, linking up with team-mates Jake Hughes, Ralf Aron and Nikita Mazepin.
Makino holds 17th position in the championship, having taken two points finishes in his rookie campaign.
Prema’s Maximilian Gunther currently heads the standings, 18 points clear of McLaren protégé Lando Norris.
