Issue 223 of our free weekly magazine, Motorsport Monday, is online now and packed full of great content – click here or the link below to start reading.

Wow! Who would have thought a year ago that Valtteri Bottas would be celebrating his second grand prix win of the year just nine races into the 2017 season? Well, if he had stayed at Williams the chances would have been slim to nothing but a fully paid up member of the Silver Arrows, he seems only to need a sniff of the chequered flag to grab the maximum points on offer.

Yesterday afternoon we were treated to a master class of driving as the young Finn held off a charging Sebastian Vettel who clearly had a faster car (on some parts of the track) than the Brackley squad had planned for. In fact yesterday's race will most likely go down as the race that had the fastest reaction time ever between the lights going out and the driver hitting the throttle. Bottas was very close to a jumped start but he was just within the margins, job done!

The IMSA gang headed north of the border for their annual visit to Mosport or the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park as it is now so eloquently known. Did the Taylor brothers manage to convert their pole position into a win? Find out in this week's magazine with this and all the news and views from the past week in the word of motorsport.
