It was an historic day for Lewis Hamilton as he took his 65th F1 pole position today in Montreal and, in the process, equalled the career total of his great hero Ayrton Senna.
Presented with a replica of Ayrton's Monaco 1987 helmet – which he will receive in original on his return to Europe – Lewis opened up about what this moment meant to him, and his special relationship to Senna's legacy.
