GP3 championship leader Nirei Fukuzumi set the quickest time as the series’ two-day in-season test concluded in Hungary.
Fukuzumi, victor of the opening race of the year at Barcelona, recorded a lap of 1:31.943 during the morning session at the Hungaroring to lead an ART Grand Prix 1-2-3, the Honda protégé 0.060s faster than team-mate Jack Aitken.
Mercedes-backed youngster George Russell, who led the way on Tuesday, finished in third spot, 0.075s down on Fukuzumi.
Campos’ Raoul Hyman finished fourth, ahead of Arden pair Leonardo Pulcini and Niko Kari.
Giuliano Alesi and Dorian Boccolacci claimed seventh and eighth respectively for Trident, as Haas development driver Santino Ferrucci (DAMS) and Alessio Lorandi (Jenzer) rounded out the top 10.
The next round of the series will take place at the Red Bull Ring, as a support event for the Austrian Grand Prix.
