Will Stevens and Markus Winkehlhock helped Audi complete a sweep of the Blancpain GT Series Sprint Cup races at Zolder with victory in Sunday's 60-minute feature contest.

A late-race safety car period bunched up the field, but Stevens was able to resist the challenge of Filip Salaquarda in the ISR Racing Audi R8 LMS during a one-lap dash to the flag.

Stevens crossed the finish line 0.467 seconds ahead of Salaquarda, as part of an Audi 1-2-3-4.

The result marked the first victory for Stevens in his new GT racing career, having switched from his role in Formula One with Manor in 2016.

It also signalled Audi's second win of the season, having taken its first during the qualifying race on Saturday afternoon through Stuart Leonard and Robin Frijns.

Stevens took the lead during the round of mandatory pit stops, thanks to a characteristically quick service from the WRT mechanics after Winkelhock had brought the car in from second.

The Briton never looked back from that point, riding the safety car period caused by a clash between Mercedes drivers Daniel Juncadella and Jimmy Eriksson who were battling for fifth position.

Completing the podium was the Frijns/Leonard WRT Audi, ahead of another WRT Audi piloted by Dries Vanthoor and Marcel Fässler.

The highest placed non-Audi entry was the Steven Kane/Vincent Abril Bentley Continental GT3 which climbed from 12th on the grid.

Mercedes had an opportunity to challenge the Audis but a start-line infringement for Michael Meadows, who gained an unfair advantage over pole-sitter Leonard at the green flag, pegged the AKKA-ASP team back.

That effectively made it an all-Audi contest at the front, with Meadows and Raffaele Marciello settling for 23rd.

Consequently, Sprint Cup points leaders Maximilian Buhk and Franck Perrera came through as the best-placed Mercedes entry in sixth.

Silver Cup honours went to Jules Szymkowiak and Fabian Schiller in their Mercedes, with the AKKA-ASP pair finishing eighth overall.

In the Pro-Am category, MichaÅ‚ Broniszewski and Giacamo Piccini took their second class win of the season in the #11 Kessel Racing Ferrari 488 GT3.
