The Manor WEC team has confirmed that it will field just one car at the FIA World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Mexico.
The No.44 LMP2 car will be the sole ORECA-Nissan 05 at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, standing down the No.45 for the race.
Matt Rao and Richard Bradley will share the only Manor WEC car in Mexico with Alfonso 'Picho' Toledano Jr.
The Mexican has previously raced in Formula Renault and Formula BMW, more recently competing in the Formula Accelleration 1 series.
It’s expected his WEC drive is just for one race, but with two seats available at Manor when it returns to a two-car outfit following the departures of Will Stevens and James Jakes, he could return.
“I am extremely happy to be joining Manor for my home race. I've been working on this project for almost one year and I am very excited to have the opportunity to make my WEC debut with Manor, a team that has made a great start to their first season in sports cars,” Toledano said.
“It will be the biggest challenge in my career so far but with the support of the team, I am confident it will be a positive debut. I'm really looking forward to racing with Manor in my home race and hopefully in more races.”
