Revised starting grid for the 2016 German Grand Prix

With three penalties handed out post-qualifying on Saturday, a number of position changes have been recorded on the official starting grid.

Nico Hulkenberg drops a single position for using incorrect tyres during Q1, elevating Valtteri Bottas to seventh [Full story].

Carlos Sainz was hit with a three-place grid penalty for impeding Felipe Massa during qualifying [Full story]. However the Toro Rosso driver only drops two places, from P13 to P15, thanks to Romain Grosjean's penalty.

The Haas driver had qualified P15, but a change of gearbox means he drops five places to 20th [Full story]. That helps out Jolyon Palmer who gets a two-place promotion, whilst Fernando Alonso, Kevin Magnussen, Pascal Wehrlein, Daniil Kvyat and Rio Haryanto all rise one position.
