Bernie Ecclestone has told those drivers complaining about Baku's safety, particularly the size of the run-off area, to stop moaning or "go home" if they don't like it.
His comments come after reigning world champion Lewis Hamilton said those complaining about the bumpy track surface "moan too much", a comment Ecclestone said he agreed with.
"I think he is right," the 85-year-old is quoted as saying by Motorsport. "If they don't want to drive, they don't have to. It is up to them. This is the circuit and if they don't like it they can go home."
Meanwhile Ecclestone was critical of Hamilton's Mercedes team-mate Nico Rosberg, after the German raised concern over the pit entry being too quick.
"This is a circuit which I said is a bit of a ballsy circuit. And if you don't like it… one of them was complaining, I think Nico, about the speed into the pitlane.
"So I said to the people, go and have a look and see if he has a brake on the car because it is up to him how quick he is."
