Red Bull will continue to be powered by Renault engines in 2017 and 2018, whilst sister team Toro Rosso will switch from Ferrari back to Renault next season, it has been confirmed.
Red Bull came close to ending its partnership with the French manufacturer last year following heavy criticism of the under-powered and unreliable power unit, but a last-minute deal to continue together emerged, with Red Bull rebranding the engines as Tag Heuer.
That will continue for at least another two years, whilst Toro Rosso, which switched from Ferrari to Renault for the 2014 season before switching back to Ferrari this year, will once again use Renault engines next year and beyond.
"We are very pleased to partner with two such strong teams as Red Bull Racing and Scuderia Toro Rosso," said Renault's Jerome Stoll.
"Having competitive partners demonstrates the confidence both have in the improved Renault power unit and in our organisation as a whole."
Red Bull team principal Christian Horner added: "We are delighted to extend our partnership which has proved very successful over time.
"After the reconstruction that Renault has undertaken, clear progress has been made which has made it logical to continue with the TAG Heuer badged engine."
