Fernando Alonso has confirmed he is feeling “completely fine” after his testing crash which saw him hospitalised for four days.
Speaking in a video he posted to YouTube, the Spaniard said he wanted to be in Barcelona testing but was told by doctors to rest ahead of the first race in two weeks time.
“As you can see, I’m completely fine,” he said. “I would like to be in the test this week in Barcelona but the doctors’ recommendations were that I had to wait, a couple of days.
“So I will rest this weekend and I will keep you updated next week with progress.
“See you very soon on track and thanks for all the support.”
