Marussia’s MR03 finally made its long-awaited debut at the Jerez test on Thursday following a false start earlier in the week.
The team had hoped to begin testing their 2014 car on Tuesday, but an unspecified technical issue kept their car firmly at their Banbury base.
It was then transported to Jerez, Spain, on Wednesday, but that wasn’t without issue as the transported broke down, delaying its arrival.
The car completed a single installation lap at 15:00 CET (14:00 GMT) with driver Max Chilton at the wheel.
