Five drivers under investigation for pit exit

Five drivers have been summoned to the stewards office after they lined up and exited the pit lane in an improper manner during Q2.

Kimi Raikkonen, Jean-Eric Vergne, Daniel Ricciardo, Pastor Maldonado and Sergio Perez failed to line-up in order after the session was restarted with just under two minutes on the clock following Felipe Massa’s crash.

With track position being vital to get a good lap in, all 15 cars lined up at the end of the pits until the light turned green, but rather than lining up in single order, they were three abreast.

Raikkonen will suffer a double investigation for a similar incident during the final session too.
