FP2: Hamilton quickest as rain continues

Lewis Hamilton topped the second practice session for the British Grand Prix, though it was another wet affair similar to the first session.

It was almost five minutes until the first car ventured out on track and that brave man was Timo Glock – though only for an installation lap.

Glock was followed by Fernando Alonso who finished 10th fastest before ending the session in the barrier. He got off lightly though with the only damage being to his new front-wing. Bruno Senna didn’t come off so lightly when he struck the barrier beforehand, heavily damaging his Williams and red flagging the session.

The session was one full of spins, off track trips and slow laps to test the conditions.
