Kimi Raikkonen revealed his new Monaco edition helmet on Friday, styled on James Hunt’s black helmet from the ’70s.
Raikkonen is a keen fan of the playboy driver who won the 1976 world championship, and has even used James Hunt’s name to enter a snowmobile race dressed as a gorilla to avoid unwanted attention.
“There’s no particular reason for it, I just like how racing was back in those days and it’s a nice design; there’s no more to it than that,” explained Raikkonen.
