Conor Daly will get his first taste of Formula 1 on Thursday after Force India confirmed the American would conduct straight-line aerodynamic testing for the team.
Daly, son of former F1 driver Derek Daly, most recently won the Spanish GP3 race at the weekend for Lotus.
The 20-year-old attended the teams Silverstone based factory on Tuesday for a seat fitting.
The test will take place on Thursday at the Cotswold Airport in Gloucestershire.
