Sebastian Vettel and Felipe Massa have retained their roles as directors of the Grand Prix Drivers’ Association (GPDA) following the change in president.
As reported earlier, Pedro de la Rosa has taken over the role of president after Rubens Barrichello left the sport following his Williams departure.
HRT driver De la Rosa was voted in on Friday at a GPDA meeting in Melbourne, whilst Vettel and Massa were kept on as directors.
“The agreement we had at the end of last season was that if Rubens would not be in Formula 1, then I would take over,” the Spaniard tis quoted as saying.
“That was the vote from the drivers, so I will take over,” he added.
